Alex Cox is a British filmmaker, writer, and broadcaster best known for directing the cult classics Repo Man and Sid and Nancy. Emerging from the independent film scene of the 1980s, his work blends punk sensibility, political satire, and genre experimentation. He has also written extensively on cinema and presented numerous documentaries on film history.
Rudy Wurlitzer is an American novelist and screenwriter known for his existential, offbeat storytelling and deep association with the American counterculture. He wrote the screenplays for Two-Lane Blacktop and Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, and collaborated with filmmakers including Sam Peckinpah and Monte Hellman. His novels and scripts have had a lasting influence on independent American cinema and literature.
