Reading Caveh Zahedi’s gentle, charming, funny and surprising poems, it was good to be reminded that there is magic and holiness right in front of our eyes.

The sky, the moon, the embrace of the air, the face of a girlfriend when she comes home from work, a book on a chair.

I felt like: magic words can unlock treasure… a split-second of noticing can change how you feel about everything.
